It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Roger Hefley of Baxter Springs, Kansas, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hefley and Vivian Hefley (Lichtenwalter). He is survived by: his wife Lillian Adele (Anderson); his daughters, Joy (John Heffernan) and Kim (Mark Sprick); his grandchildren, Jennifer Heffernan, Julia Heffernan, Tim Sprick and Scott Sprick; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Mia and Vienna Sprick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund at the First United Methodist Church, Baxter Springs.
