With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Fred Shoemaker of Baxter Springs, Kansas, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Shoemaker and Dorothy Shoemaker (Cramer); his aunt Clara; his uncle Ted; his siblings, Vincent James Shoemaker and Clara Lee Smith; and his son Joseph Ted Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ann DeForest; his children, Penny Ann Larsen (Jay Larsen) of Irvine, Wendy Lea Youngberg (Darin Youngberg) of Joplin and Vincent "Joe" Shoemaker (Kristine Bohon) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Madison King (Youngberg), Kayla Boyle (Shoemaker), Natali Byrne (Youngberg), Holly Gonzalez (Traphagan), Zora Shoemaker and Brayden Youngberg. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
