He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Turnbough and Ruth Kepner Turnbough; his son Timothy Allen Turnbough; and his sons-in-law, James Woods and Keith Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Faye Sharp; and his children, George Albert Turnbough, Jr., Betty Hart, Brenda Woods and Linda Smith. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and many great Grandchildren; four brothers; and two sisters.
