He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Williamson and Eliga Williamson; and his siblings, Janet Quirarte, Chris Williamson and Paul Williamson.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jolene Williamson; his children, John David, Carol Hollen (Jason) of West Virginia and Lisa Lankford (Wally) of Kansas; his grandchildren, Joseph Williamson (Tiffany), Benjamin Williamson, Emmalee Williamson and Jillian Hollen; and his siblings, John L. Williamson (Teresa), Barbara Pennock (Joe), Richard Williamson (Janet) and Connie Way (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to First Assembly of God in Baxter Springs in honor of David Williamson.
