He was predeceased by: his father J. C. Bowman; and his son Bruce Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Diane Benson; his children, Keith Bowman (Mary) of Owasso, OK, Stephanie Webber (Allen) of Webb City, MO and Kelly Bowman Andrea Groter (Bill) of Seneca, MO; and his sisters, Gloria Abbott of Joplin, MO. and Iris Corsoe of Joplin, MO.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Tunnel to Towers or Fold of Honors and maybe left in care of the funeral home.
