He is survived by: his wife Debbie Thomasson; his sons, Bruce Thomasson (Angie), Baxter Springs and Chad Thomasson (Tina); his grandchildren, Correy Thomasson, Carrie Thomasson, Hunter Thomasson and Riley Thomasson Bailey; his great grandchildren, Addison Thomasson of Baxter Springs and Aspen Thomasson of Baxter Springs; and his siblings, Judy Wade (Don), Baxter Springs, Patty McAfee (Eddie) and Scott VanHoose (Joyce).
