With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Jean Smiley (Baxter Springs, Kansas), born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2021 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Jean Smiley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Crane and Irma Crane; and her nephew Tyler Crane. She is survived by: her children, Sheri Smiley (Kevin Braun) of Kansas City, KS, Tamara Reeves (Jeff) of Miami, OK, Susan Attocknie of Miami, OK and Chad Smiley of Anchorage; her stepdaughter Allison Blake of Chapman, KS; and her siblings, Susan Hollon of Quapaw, OK, Charlene Brewster (Miles) of Quapaw, OK and Charles "Steve" Crane of Quapaw, OK. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
