He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Ashley and Violet Ashley (Robinson); his wife Eula Ann Litrell; his sons, Boyd Keith Ashley, Jr. and Bill Ashley; his siblings, Bud Ashley, Virgil Ashley, Glen Ashley, Ellen Misner, Berdenna Ashley and Wanda Ashley; his grandson Ricky Mills; and his great grandchild Tristain Bass.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Logan (Kelly), Steve Ashley (Betty), Carol Truster, David Ashley, Connie Kidwell (Steve) and Doug Ashley (Rita); and his brother Emmett Ashley. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
