He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen James and Myrtle Lola Swan (Rusk); his spouse Clinta Hollingsworth; and his siblings, Bob Swan, James Swan and Hazel Ivy.

He is survived by: his sons, Bill Swan (Pamela), Larry Swan (Betty) and Robert Swan (Suzie). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
