It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Rice of Baxter Springs, Kansas, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Ann Rice to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert "Red" Derryberry and Ella Derryberry (Crotts); her husband Jim Rice; her brothers, Joe Derryberry and Dean Derryberry; and also Joseph Robin "Bob" Spradling.
She is survived by: her daughter Dottie Myers (Glen) of Galena, KS; her sister Madge Clogston; her granddaughters, Tammy Hutchison (David) and Terri Wimberley (Barry); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Dallas, Joey and Katie; and her great great grandchildren, Bingham and Beckham.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (1124 Kansas Ave, Baxter Springs, KS 66713). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
