It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Rettig Jr. of Basehor, Kansas, who passed away on March 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda (Grancer) and Roy Rettig Sr.; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley McLaughlin, Joyce Johnson, Roxy Shaw and Sharon Chapman; his children, Brad Rettig (Tammy) of Basehor, KS, Scott Rettig (Patty) of Stockton, MO, Staci Easley (Tom) of Olathe, KS and Troy Rettig of Olathe, KS; and his former wife Patricia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the gravesite service for Buss at the Leavenworth National Cemetery is for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice House.
