He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Hinson and Orine Hinson; and his siblings, John P. Hinson and Lorraine Hinson (Sue). He is survived by: his wife Linda Ross; his grandchildren, Jezon Griffin, Davion Ealy and Tiara Renee; his great grandchild Bentley Joseph Griffin; his siblings, Maxine Tyson of Kansas City, Kansas, Willie Belle Hamilton of Kansas City, Kansas, Patience O'Hara of Kansas City, Kansas, Rev. Ralph Hinson of Strong, Arkansas, Walter Hinson and Bruce Hinson of Kansas City, Kanas; his aunt Mary Wayne of Kansas City, Kansas; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Ferguson of Jefferson City, Missouri, Paul Lee Ferguson, Philip Wayne Ross of San Diego, California, Harland Ross of Jefferson City, Missouri and Rev. Robert D. Ross of Versailles. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
