He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Runnels and Ruth Helen Runnels (Roberts); his brother Kent Runnels; and his nephew Russ Runnels. He is survived by: his sister Nancy King (Jack) of Olathe, KS; his sister-in-law Gayle Runnels (Bob Moore) of Basehor; his niece Jeannie Arnold (Dustin); and his nephews, Jack Hansen (April), Dr. Steven Runnels (Stacy) and Dr. Scott Runnels (Jessica).
