As Mary Jane departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Jane may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Jane leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kretzing and Gladys Kretzing (Hall); and her brother Harold. She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi (Derek Sherman), Beth (Rod Pracht), Gretchen (Scott Ransom) and Jennifer of Rio Rancho, NM; and her sister-in-law Jean Kretzing of Carlisle, PA.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (311 N 7th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. John's Episcopal Church in Broken Bow, NE or St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Leavenworth KS.
