He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Ray and Violet Ruth Pemberton (Black); and his sister Donna Sue Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Pemberton (Caton); his stepchildren, Rick Schneider (Shannon) and Nicole Schneider; and also, Jennifer Pemberton, Addison Newberry, Cordell Newberry, Britt Hamilton, Nicholas Dunn, Paige Dunn, Tyler Dunn, Clarice Smith, Dylon Pemberton, Bradley Smith and Thomas Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
