It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Hendrickson of Basehor, Kansas, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John F. Hendrickson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. A. "Pete" and Edith E. Hendrickson (Beaty); his former wife Patricia Marie Church; and his siblings, Norma Jean Barger and Ernest Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his children, James (Benita), Keith (Carrie) and Melinda (John Young); his wife Doris Morelock (Potts); his children, Jeremy Morelock (Denise Owens) and Jennifer Zoe Morelock Miller (Jeff); his sisters, Mary Lou Estes and Lila Fay Lindbloom (Glenn); and his sister-in-law Patricia Hendrickson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
John would not hesitate to add, "Eat the old-fashioned ones. None of those double stuffed sickly flavored ones!!" And because of his love for flowers, in lieu of sending flowers for the service, please give a bouquet to someone you love, or a stranger, and make their day.
