It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Marie VanDruff of Basehor, Kansas, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Helen Marie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Helen Marie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Corriston and Oka Corriston (Williams); her husband Larry VanDruff; her son Joseph VanDruff; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Schweiger and Lucas Frantz.
She is survived by: her children, Tim VanDruff (Lorrie) of Rossville, KS, Richard VanDruff of Basehor, KS, Donna Lawson (Roy) of Mebane, NC and Tammy Pittman (Craig) of Parkville, MO. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Quisenberry Funeral Home (604 E 4th St, Tonganoxie, KS 66086).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Interim Hospice.
