He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leonard and Virginia Smith; and his daughter-in-law Anne Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Janet Leonard; his children, Kelly Becker (Dutch) of Raymore, MO, Todd Leonard (Regina) of Seneca, KS and Scott Leonard (Trisha) of De Soto, KS.; his brother William Leonard of Overland Park, KS; and his grandchildren, Abby, Emma, Andrew, Wade, Aubrey, Graham and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and at 4:30 PM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (15440 Leavenworth Rd, Basehor, KS 66007). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery (15440 Leavenworth Rd, Basehor, KS 66007).
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association and the Holy Angels Catholic Church Fund.
