He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjaman George and Rosella Beor; his former spouse Sherrian Richardson; his wife Violet Pence; his sister Arlene Locke (Horace); his children, Shelly and Bryan; and his niece Emily Jones.

He is survived by: his sisters, Marge Bower (Gale), Barbie Synder and Mary Campbell (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.

“To Fred’s family and loved ones, we are so sorry for your loss. We live 2 doors down from Fred and he was one of the first people to welcome us when we moved in. He and Brad talked a lot and discovered a mutual love of bowling. Fred got Brad bowling with him at KC Bowl and they enjoyed spending time together. He was our go-to guy for any car questions and he was always leaving us desserts he had baked. He was such a kind, sweet man and we will miss him very much. Brad & Judy Ballinger”
