It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Lucille Inich of Basehor, Kansas, born in Lead, South Dakota, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Poppleton and Grace Poppleton; her siblings, Alan Poppleton, Lola Poppleton, Fay Steger (Poppleton), Ralph Poppleton and Wayne Poppleton; her son Charles Inich; and her husband Elmer Inich.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Inich (Susan), Douglas Inich (Vicky) and Susan Inich-Hernandez; and her grandchildren, Michael Inich (Heather), Benjamin Inich, Mark Inich, Holly Neblett, Mandy Knapp (Alan), Joshua Inich, Jackie Lewis (Skyler), Alyssa Dye and Melanie Glasgow. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home (2700 Jackson Blvd, Rapid City, SD 57702). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
