He is survived by: his wife Cindy Hynek (Jones); his children, Michelle Hynek (Will Nitch) of Woodland Hills, CA, Kara Sedlacek (Jared), Brent Hynek (Jenny) and Marc Hynek of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Billy, Stevie Nitch, Ali, Dawson Sedlacek, Ella, Mabel, Adele and Ila Hynek; his siblings, Betty McDaniel (Gary), Karen Slusher (David), Dennis Hynek (Sondra), Joe Hynek (Sue), Mel Hynek (Joni), Rick Hynek (Karen) and Kevin Hynek (Lisa); and his sisters-in-law, Paulette Hynek and Elva Hynek.
