He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin H. Richter and Bertha M. Richter (Steenbock); and his sister Alice Lund. He is survived by: his siblings, Neil Richter of Leonardville, Twila Olson (Glen) of Ringsted, Marcene Richter of Leonardville, Lois Grittman (Dean) of Topeka and Sherre Johnson (Lowell) of Topeka; and his brother-in-law Myron Lund of Leonardville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Christie-Anderes Funeral Home (308 W Walnut St, Waterville, KS 66548). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fancy Creek Zion Church (14841 Bodaville Rd, Randolph, KS 66554). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fancy Creek Zion Cemetery (14841 Bodaville Rd, Randolph, KS 66554).
