With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Robert Bowman (Baldwin City, Kansas), born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Bowman and Dorathy Bowman (Barton); and his siblings, Jackie, Margaret, Everett, Ida, Charlene and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Bowman (Lazelle); and his children, Robert "Bob" Bowman (Cheryl) of Berryton, KS, Brian Bowman (Virginia) of Kinsley, KS and Cheryl Taylor (Kent) of Lawrence, KS. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
