With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rowena Jane Lacer of Baldwin City, Kansas, born in Independence, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 93. As we bid Rowena farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Knight; her brothers, Frederick and Donald Keil (Lloyd Lacer); and her sons, Albert and Fred Mauk.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Mauk, Jr., Charles Mauk, Cathy Dulaney and Susan Maukand Mary Mauk; her brother Gene Keil of Harrisonville, Missouri.; and her former husband Richard Mauk.
