He is survived by: his parents, Raymond Burdette and Myrtle Carey (Thompson); his children, Anne Westegate (Ron) of Baldwin City and John Carey (Janelle) of Lecompton; his grandchildren, Mark Westgate (Krist), Devin Carey and Chandler Carey; and his great grandchildren, Skylar, Masen, Emma and Brooklyn Reed.
