He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sigel Pearson and Mary Katherine Pearson (Randel); his great grandchild Ella Beal; his son-in-law James Davis; and his brother-in-law Elton Haid.
He is survived by: his spouse Marja Lee Purvis; his children, Ed Pearson (Ann), Rick Pearson (Marcheta) and Susan Davis; his grandchildren, Kelly, Melanie, Dane, Mallory, Russell, Jeffrey and Matthew; and his sister Mary Haid of Lawrence. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
