With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin McConnell (Baldwin City, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on January 4, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred McConnell; his daughters, Jonnie Verstraete (Jim) and Oralee Jacobs; and his great grandchild Tyler Verstraete. He is survived by: his adoptive daughter Debbie Slayden of Lees Summit, MO; and his grandchildren, Velita Smith (Steve), Anita Mathis (Bob), Jim Verstraete (Angi), Jeanie Verstraete (Roger), Chanse Mortenson, Linc Mortenson (Kim), Dustin Mortenson (Katie), Tiffany McCuiston, Cory Flethcer and Jade Slayden. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
