He is survived by: his wife Wanda Malloy; his children, Shawn Malloy of Iola, Dawn Malloy of Lenexa and Amanda Malloy of Topeka; his stepchildren, Natasha Hulett, Ashley Trout of Baldwin City and Lauren Honas (Josh) of Olathe, Kansas; his siblings, Roy Malloy of Iola, David Malloy (Kathy) of Humboldt, Dennis Malloy of Iola, Kansas, Wynona Leslie (Mike) of Iola, Debbie Lindholm (John Houston) and Sondra Malloy of Iola, Kansas; and his sister-in-law Sharon Malloy of Wichita, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the James Malloy Memorial Fund.
