He is survived by: his daughter Marcy Rust (Gary) of Topeka, KS; his great grandchildren, Landon Rust (Paula) and Parker; his grandchildren, Grant Rust (Linnzi) of Charlotte, NC, Graydon Rust of Birmingham, AL, Sydney Weakland (Troy), Josie and Atreus of Topeka, KS.; his daughter Diane Haeffner (Randy) of Baldwin City, KS; his great grandchildren, Matt Haeffner (Chelsey), Audrianne, Ashton, Haven and Henley of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Zach Haeffner (Kelli), Harrison, Hadley, Hunter of Baldwin City, KS, Josh Haeffner, Dax, Ryker, Jase of Houston, TX, Lesley Nellor (Jake) and Lauren of Baldwin City, KS.; his son Jeff Pauli (Liana) of Derby, KS; his great grandchildren, Leah Barger (Kody) and Raegan of Warrensburg, MO; his grandchildren, Luke Pauli (Grace), Lucy and Rose of Olathe, KS.; and his siblings-in-law, Judeen Berry (Bob) of Castle Rock, CO and Dale Deinert of Yuma, CO..
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
