It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allen of Baldwin City, Kansas, born in Saint Marys, Kansas, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clement Allen and Blanche Dolezilek Allen; his wife Shirley Dempsay; his children, Jim Allen (Robin), Lori Lewicki (Ernie) and Michael Allen (Tonya); his stepdaughter Debby Combs (Doug); his siblings, Tom Allen (Sonya), Carol Johnson, Marjorie Berry (Robert) and Mary Jones; and his stepson Michael Kreshel. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, and sent in care of the funeral home.
