She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Risch and Viola Risch (Moellers); her son James Darrell Hargett; and her siblings, Anthony Risch, Walter Risch, Leo Risch, George Risch and Rita Miller.

She is survived by: her husband James Junior Hargett; her children, James Dean Hargett of Eudora, KS, Terry Jerome Hargett, Mark T and Judy Coble; her siblings, Mark Risch of Macon, MO and Catherine Sharp; and her grandchildren, Jason, Jared, Jacob, Madison and Ronna. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
