With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Puckett of Baldwin City, Kansas, born in Edgerton, Kansas, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Chester Hougland and Rachel Harriett Hougland (Hammer); her husband Gerald Puckett; her daughter Joyce Mitchell; and her siblings, Sherman Hougland and Harriett Murray.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janell Pritchard (Doug), Judy Chanay (Doug) of Buena Vista, CO and Jill Ausherman (David) of Euless, TX; her sister Gerry Hathenbrook; and her son-in-law Jim Mitchell. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 7 great-great Grandchildren.
