He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Mae Routh (Swindler) and Luther Routh; his wife Mavis Routh; his son-in-law Michael Medlen; and his siblings, Ray Routh, Junior Routh, Lois Floyd, Ruby Fox and Jewell Hargis.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Medlen of Lawrence, KS, Carol Grammer (Michael) of Eudora, KS and Chris Routh (Jacquie) of Topeka, KS; and his grandchildren, Bill, Chris, Stacy Medlen, Rheanna, Brent Routh, Cassie Blackwell, Melissa Miller and Chelsea Webb. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
