He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Samyn and Mary Samyn (Soetaert); his wife Frances Jane; and his brother Hubert Samyn. He is survived by: his children, Karen Chanay (Tim), Connie Briar (Steve) and Michael Samyn (Linda); and his siblings, Edward Lee Samyn (Debbie) and Joanna Graves. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
