We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2020, at the age of 88, Marvin William Mathewson (Baileyville, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Mathewson and Hilda Osterhaus Mathewson; his siblings, Raymond Mathewson, Dorothy Schmitz and Irene Schmitz; his wife Mary Susan Mathewson of Overland Park; his sons, Jason Mathewson (Ann) of Scranton and Mark Mathewson (Lisa) of Kansas City; his sister Ileta Klecan of Hanover; and his great grandchild Marvin. He was also cherished by 3 grandchildren.
SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 A. M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baileyville prior to the Mass at 11:00 A. M. Monday January 4, 2021.
Memorial donations may be left in his memory to the local Meals on Wheels and/or Sacred Heart church.
