He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Koelzer and Irene Koelzer (Hammes); his son Ronnie; and his siblings, Richard, Elmer, Gilbert, Marceil Haverkamp, Mildred Stallbaumer, Evelyn Heiman, Leona Bergman, Eileen Koelzer and Audrey Mueting.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Rottinghaus; his children, Donna Koelzer of Manhattan, Joyce Polson (Kent) of Vliets, Joan Buessing (Tim) of Axtell, Lisa Fangman (Bob) of Ottawa, Bruce Koelzer of Axtell, Dean Koelzer of Silver Lake and Sandy Buessing (Bill) of Axtell; and his sister Laverne Uphaus of Topeka. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
