He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hickman and Rose Mitchell Hickman; his wife Eleanor Fern Finney; his granddaughter Jennifer Ann Sandbothe; and his brothers, Rene Hickman, Richard and Kenneth Hickman.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Marie Sandbothe (Randy) of Walnut, Iowa; and his siblings, Zita Osterhaus (Robert) of Summerfield and William Hickman (Linda) of Clay Center. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
