He was predeceased by: his wife Rosa Lou; and his parents, Gordon Norwood and Violette Norwood. He is survived by: his daughters, Jayne Pugh of Topeka, KS, Katherine Norwood and Axtell; his grandchildren, Thomas Lee Pugh, Kaitlyn Lierz, Baileyville, Ryan Lierz (Amber), Sabetha, Randy Lierz, Matthew Lierz (Jenny), Axtell, Aiden Lierz, Leo Lierz and Jace Lierz; his brother Verl Norwood (Sharon) of Kansas City, MO; his brothers-in-law, George Dean (Martha) of Jackson, TN and Charles Youngerman; his niece Elizabeth Youngerman-Deeds of Selmer, TN; and his nephews, Alan Youngerman of Selmer, TN and Todd Dean.
