It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Dale Holmes of Augusta, Kansas, born in Abilene, Kansas, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Holmes and Florence Holmes (Vanhorn); his son Michael Holmes; and his grandsons, Zachery Wisely and Kale Shaffer.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Debbie Holmes) of Augusta, Florence (Ronnie Hoover) of Greenwood, Ernest (Rosalba Holmes) of Wichita and Donald (Sandy Holmes) of Edinburg, Texas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
