She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsworth Orville Brown of Wichita and Dorothea Katheryn Brown of Nickerson, Kansas.; her daughter Sheri Lynn Smith; her brother Galen; and her aunt Evelyn Belford.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberlie Ann Cody (Mark) of Augusta, Kansas, Jami Elizabeth Dakin (Jeff) of Emporia, Kansas, Nicolle Danielle Jay (Scott) of Augusta, Kansas, Mariella Andreo (Robert Erskine) of Broomfield, Colorado and Michelle Wright of Longmont, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Christopher Cody (Veronica), Tanner Cody (Laiken), Jared Dakin (Brittany), Bryce Dakin (Kenzie), Breck Dakin-Lair (Garick), Dylan Samuels (Marissa), Jessica Samuels, Cooper Jay, Rylee Jay, Blake Andreo, Madison Wright, Makenna Warner (Christian) and Devon Wright.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Headley Funeral Chapel (813 State St, Augusta, KS 67010). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Augusta United Methodist Church. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 12th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010).
