It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Ballinger of Augusta, Kansas, born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Civilla (Wheeler) and Thomas Albert Ballinger; his siblings, Richard, Marvin, Arlyss, Herschel, Harold, Lola, Melba and Charlotte; and his son Alford Thomas Ballinger.
He is survived by: his former wife Frances L. Ballinger (Hembel); his wife Treva Arlene Ballinger (Clark); and his children, Allen Ballinger of Kansas City, MO, Kathy Metzger (David), Janice Robinson of Neosho, MO, Elizabeth Walker (David) of Fredonia, KS and Rebecca Cassidy of Freeman, MO. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
