With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Forsythe of Augusta, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on November 6, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Lou Barnes (Montgomery) and Amado "Mel" Flores; her siblings, Karen Flores, Charles Flores (Charlotte) and Butch Flores; and her sister-in-law Jannie Flores.
She is survived by: her husband Harold D. Forsythe, Sr.; her children, Kim Edwards (Dan), Harold D. Forsythe, Jr. (Claire) and Nicole Erwin (Jay); her siblings, Larry Flores, Richard Flores, Mike Flores, Jim Flores (Kim Orton), Mary Jo Roberts (Bob), Jean Landrith, Trina Rohr and Pam Sutton (Morris); her sister-in-law Marsha Flores; and her grandchildren, Darius (Taylor), Dustin Semisch (Nicole), Stratton (Lexie), Bailey, Britton Forsythe, Briggs, Zander and Westen Erwin. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Headley Funeral Chapel (813 State St, Augusta, KS 67010). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 12th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010).
