We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2020, at the age of 88, Jimmy Buckhanon of Augusta, Kansas, born in Wetumka, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Retta Buckhanon (Hurley) and Feliar Buckhanon; his spouse Jewel Buckhanon (Westerman); his son-in-law Art Charlet; and his siblings, Charles Ray, Otis Buckhanon, LaLouise Ogden and Janet Patrick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Judy King (Joe) of Augusta and Janell Charlet of Augusta; his godson Charley Genter; his sisters, Lorene Fickess of Polo, MO, Phyllis Ozment of Culman, AL and Carolyn Foreman of Signal Mountain, TN; his grandchildren, Tanya Austin (Kevin), Mallory, Macee and Hunter; and his stepgrandchildren, Wendy Chafin and Keith Tabing. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homestead of Augusta.
