She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Thompson of Augusta; and her grandchildren, Sarah Jean Thompson, Nathan Wayne Thompson, Jennifer Lynne Thompson (Derek Blackston), Nicholas Thompson (Ashley), Laura Thompson (Kenneth Casteel), Daniel Thompson (Jessaca) and Matthew Holmes (Heather).
