She was predeceased by: her parents, George Opfer and Sarah Opfer (Harrison); her husband John W. E. Kerchner Sr.; her sons, John Kerchner Jr. and George Scott Kerchner; her grandson Joseph Kerchner; and her siblings, Theodore Opfer, John Opfer, Howard Opfer, Harry Opfer and Luella Opfer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vannessa (Don Lehmkuhl) of Simi Valley, Nelda (Ray Darwin) of Augusta and Sarah Moreno of Herington, Kansas; and her brother Ralph (Jan Opfer) of Riverview, Michigan. She is also survived by 12 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grand child; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
