She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Cales (Fields) and Russell Cales; her husband Alan Carnes; and her siblings, Melvin Cales and Lois Salisbury (Cales).
She is survived by: her daughter DeLanah; her son-in-law David Huyett of Wichita, Kansas; her daughter Mishele; her son-in-law Randy McKain of Bemidji, Minnesota; her son David; her daughter-in-law Lyn Carnes of Overland Park, Kansas; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Julie Carnes of Overland Park, Kansas; and her brother Kenneth Cales of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
