She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Lea Evans (Hackler) and Sherman Edgar Evans; and her siblings, Jerry Evans and Nancy Fetters. She is survived by: her sons, David E. Canedy and Craig E. Canedy; her sister Dorothy Hill; and her grandchildren, Matthew Canedy and Kayla Canedy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunsford Funeral Home & Crematory (201 E 5th Ave, Augusta, KS 67010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation (https://www.abcf.org) as a dedicated donation in memory of Charlene Canedy.
