It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Joe Rood of Auburn, Kansas, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Carrey and Louise Rood (Raute); his wife Deena Krymis; and his siblings, Ruby Jennings and Robert Rood.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra Elizabeth Rood (Tyler) and John Robert Rood (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Quincy Greenrood and Theodore Greenrood.
