He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Micek and Gertrude Micek (Prochazka); his sisters, Virginia and Judy; his grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah, Theresa, Bella Rose, Alex and Daniel; and his sister-in-law Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline J. Arnold of Colby, Kansas.; his children, Kimberly Shirley, Jacqueline Hanson (Brian), Jennifer Sabatka (Kasey), Matthew (Melissa) and Simon (Kassidi); and his siblings, Virgil and Joyce (Larry). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Atwood (508 N Railroad Ave, Atwood, KS 67730). A vigil service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at the Sts. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
