Elizabeth I. Pochop Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2023, at the age of 96, Elizabeth I. Pochop of Atwood, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth I. Pochop to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chleborad and Mary Chleborad (Horinek); her sisters, Vivian Feagan (Bob) and Viola Janousek (Jerome); and her son-in-law Bob Helmick.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Pochop; her children, Anthony (Annette), Gerard (Anita), Rebecca (Becky), Kevin, Michael (Deb), Cynthia Helmick (Bob) and Becky Lundquist (Mike); and her siblings, Mary Yvonne Bowski, Rose George and Clarence Chleborad (Valerie).
It was Elizabeth's request that there be no flowers for her funeral (she said that she could not smell them). Memorials may be made to St. John's Altar Society, Hope's Place or PreBorn and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
